Brad Bradley has spoken out following the release of the Netflix documentary Amy Bradley Is Missing, which tells the story of his sister who vanished from a cruise ship
Amy Bradley’s brother has vowed his family will “never stop looking” for her after she vanished almost 30 years ago.
Amy went missing in March 1998 at the age of 23 while on vacation with her family on a Royal Caribbean cruise. New attention has been drawn to her case following the release of the new Netflix docuseries Amy Bradley Is Missing.
Amid the increased attention, Amy’s brother Brad Bradley has spoken out about her disappearance. He said his family is “trying as hard as we can” to find Amy and made a desperate plea to his sister in a new interview.
“Amy if you’re able to see this or hear this you know we love you more than anything, always have. We’ll never stop,” Brad said as he sat down for an interview with journalist Nate Eaton.
He continued, “We’re never going to stop looking for you unless we’re presented a reason that there’s no reason to continue with it, but we’re trying as hard as we can. Please don’t give up. We won’t give up.”
Brad told his sister they love her, before adding, “All we want is to get you home back safe and to help you get through this. So if you’re out there, hang in there.”
Brad has also admitted his family are convinced Amy is still out there. He explained to the Daily Mail, “We’ve always had a gut feeling, as unrealistic as some may think it could be, after 27 years, that she’s still out there somewhere.”
He’s hoping the new Netflix show will help with the search for Amy. “If we say no to something like that, then it’s almost like we’re giving up, or were missing out on a chance and an opportunity to get this in front of more eyes and ears,” he said as he explained the family’s reasoning for approving the documentary.
In the 27 years since Amy’s disappearance, people have shared their own theories about what has happened, with some claiming to have seen the missing woman since she vanished. No theories have been proven and the alleged sightings have not been confirmed.
The leading theory is that Amy tragically fell overboard after a night of partying and that her body has simply never washed up on shore. Other people believe Amy was a victim of sex trafficking and smuggled off the boat. Both of these theories are covered in the Netflix series.
