Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is reportedly furious over his teams loss to the Buffalo Bills, marking the end of their unbeaten streak this season. On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first defeat of the year, falling to the Buffalo Bills in a 30-21 loss. The defeat ended the Chiefs quest for an undefeated season and dropped their record to 9-1.
Despite still being in prime position to claim the AFC West title and the No. 1 seed in the conference, the loss has reportedly caused tensions within the organization.
According to a since-deleted post on X (formerly known as Twitter) by NFL reporter Darren Smith, Hunt was p***ed about the teams performance against Buffalo. Smith even went on to say that the level of Hunts anger might have been an understatement. Though the post was quickly removed, it nevertheless fueled speculation about the mood inside the Chiefs organization.
The legitimacy of Smiths report remains unclear, especially given the swift deletion of the post. However, that didnt stop fans from sharing their opinions on social media, with many directing their frustrations toward Hunts management of the team.
One fan wrote, Clark Hunt is pissed that his football team, that he spends no money on and routinely ranks among the bottom in the offseason report card by players, lost their first game in over 338 days.
Another fan chimed in, Loooool Clark Hunt should be mad at himself.
A third fan added, Surely Clark Hunt treats his own players well, right?
The fan backlash isnt entirely unfounded. Hunt has faced criticism over the years regarding his investment in the team and how he treats the players. He is consistently rated as one of the least favorable owners in the league, particularly when it comes to investing in the facilities and overall player experience.

In a report card issued to every NFL team based on player polling, the Chiefs were rated as one of the worst environments to play in.
The team received failing grades in several areas, including nutrition, locker room quality, training staff, and ownership. Hunt himself was rated as the worst owner in the league, earning an F- for his efforts, which has only intensified the scrutiny on his leadership.
Despite the reports of Hunts anger and the issues behind the scenes, the Chiefs players are looking to use the loss as motivation to improve.
Team leaders, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have focused on the positive aspects of the setback, emphasizing the need to regroup and finish the season strong.
We feel like we can play better, so we will get back to work and try to use this as a spark so that we can be a better football team in the end, Mahomes said, addressing the media. The undefeated thing was cool, but thats not our ultimate goal. Im hoping that it is a benefit.
The Chiefs are now shifting their attention to their upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers, hoping to refocus and bounce back after the disappointing loss.
While Hunts reported frustrations may loom in the background, the team is determined to move forward and continue their push for success as the regular season progresses.
